Simone, Dion we totally love you two. Down at Kangaroo valley (which is insanely beautiful by the way), somewhere between limboing under an electric fence and running away from cars on a bridge we made two new friends. Not just any old friends, friends who are crazy hilarious and have some serious tree climbing skills. That adventure was fun, let’s do it all over again! Maybe at your wedding…probably with no electric fence this time!
Hi friends, well isn’t today exciting!? Because we get to share this spectacular wedding that was held at The Grounds of Alexandria (just quietly between you and me, it’s one of my favourite places ever).
If there was an award that could be handed out to the craziest and awesomest bridal party ever, Liz and Nich’s one would definitely deserve it. There was also a surprise best man serenade, an epic three tiered wedding cake and even Batman. Could we ask for more? Hell no.
Also make sure you check out Nich’s awesome show The Roast on ABC2 for some hilarious good times.
2013 has already been an insanely amazing year already and we are just a quarter of the way through it! I’m so excited about what’s to come because later this year we’ll be shooting these two getting MARRIED! Woo!
We met Flick and Dave last year and immediately fell in love with their story, how totally cool they both are and how awesome their wedding is going to be. And just when I thought they couldn’t be more awesome they go and tell me that they wanted their shoot at a drive in cinema (woohoo, another thing crossed off my bucket list!). I couldn’t think of a more perfect location for these two who first met each other while both working at the local cinema.
Jess and Octavio’s family came from all over the world to celebrate their day with them and it was fantastic to hear about how, even despite their different cultures, languages and physical distance, they all shared the same sense of family.
As the party kicked on in Centennial park late into the night we could see what they meant: both families celebrated together like old friends and boy do they know how to keep the party going. In fact, the celebrations went international with a family trip to continue the festivities over in Mexico. Now if that isn’t one heck of a wedding I don’t know what is.
It was out under a string of lights and the stars at Wollombi in the Hunter Valley that we heard some of the best wedding speeches ever. There were a few tears shed, lots of laughter and so, so much heart. We had spent time with these two before at their engagement shoot and we already knew they were awesome, but it was during those speeches that we understood why they are so incredible together.
