We’d like you to join us in doing something a little bit different. Up until now, we’ve used this blog to show you photos of the awesome couples we’ve had the pleasure of photographing. We’d like to change that slightly.

While we love telling you other people’s stories, we feel as though we haven’t shared enough of our own. So we’re going to start doing more of that, starting from today.

We have a new about page with some new photos of us (the ones below are the outtakes), but we’re also going to start showing you a few more of our non-wedding adventures. Our road trips, our little stories. The things that make us… well… us.

We do it less than we should these days.

Escape.

Finding the time is hard. Finding time that everyone has is harder. Sometimes, though. Sometimes we somehow find ourselves back in places we haven’t been in years. Places that we had almost forgotten. Places that we fit back into almost intuitively.

And then it’s over again.

So we agree that we should do it again some time. We all nod and hug and laugh.

And we promise.

Happy Tuesday everyone! How fast did Easter fly by? Happily, we do have a gigantic 1kg Lindt bunny to remember it by (currently serving as the centrepiece on our dining table).

Bunnies aside, we are super excited to share the amazing news that we’ve been featured on Polka Dot Bride with the shoot we did for the wonderful Janine and Shaun.

We’ve been looking forward to bringing you these photos from the moment we stepped foot on this gorgeous, empty beach that presented us with a wonderful sunrise within minutes of our arrival. Yuri and Hugh gave us the chance to switch between wonderfully intimate moments and complete hysterics as we all ran around the beach together. We absolutely loved working with these two and there was no better way to wrap up such an incredible shoot than with a few bacon and egg rolls right by the water.
