We know it’s not important how the photographers feel about a wedding since it’s really about the couple celebrating their love for each other. But, just for the record, we had a seriously amazing time. We love our jobs because we get to meet and spend time with beautiful couples like Danielle and Rahul. What’s even better is when you get to meet their families and realise they’re awesome as well (and you secretly want them to possibly consider adopting you – which Lisa may have also not-so-subtly suggested at the time).

This wedding had some of the best dance floor action we’ve seen in quite some time. We loved the tradition, ritual and colour of the ceremony but what really made this wedding special was definitely the guests. There was more joy and energy at that reception than a group exercise class at your local fitness first. Congratulations Rahul and Danielle!

Sometimes it takes a few detours and surprises to get you to true love; this was certainly the case for Silvana and Ken. We loved how close knit and intimate this ceremony was and their first dance made Lisa gush a little. You may remember this lovely shoot that we did with them a few months ago and we felt so lucky that we were able to share their wedding day with them as well. We had such a great time at their wedding and, like everyone else there, we certainly felt like a part of their family.
