Ken + Silvana Sydney Wedding

Sometimes it takes a few detours and surprises to get you to true love; this was certainly the case for Silvana and Ken. We loved how close knit and intimate this ceremony was and their first dance made Lisa gush a little. You may remember this lovely shoot that we did with them a few months ago and we felt so lucky that we were able to share their wedding day with them as well. We had such a great time at their wedding and, like everyone else there, we certainly felt like a part of their family.

Congratulations Silvana and Ken.

Kevin + Katye

So much joy, laughter and fun.

We loved that this wedding had kids having a blast and running around, games of bocce on the lawn throughout the day, and a post wedding wood-fired pizza brunch by the vineyard.

Being surrounded by amazing friends and having so much fun amongst the stunning backdrop of the Di Lusso winery in Mudgee made it almost impossible to want to leave… that’s until we heard that they had a cheese shop on the way back to Sydney.

Thanks so much to Kevin and Katye for having us at your beautiful wedding.

Canberra Roadtrip

We knew we just had to go.

We saw it on the horizon on the way to visiting our wonderful friends Vanessa, Tim and young Andy.

Capital wind farm. Towering wind turbines sprouting out of this stunning landscape just seemed so surreal and felt exactly like a scene from a movie set in the not too distant future.

We managed to refrain from re-enacting scenes out of Mad Max (briefly) to capture some shots of the extraordinary scenery.

Despite some moments where poor tyre traction met some less than ideal terrain, we’d definitely do it again. Though perhaps with much less caffeine and sugar (and without Pete singing "We don’t need another hero" over and over again).
